Suspects arrested in shooting of volunteer taxi driver on Koh Samui

On the night of May 24, 2026, a volunteer taxi driver was murdered in the tourist area of Chaweng Beach on Koh Samui. According to police, the incident began with a parking dispute, after which one of the participants was stabbed and then shot. Police collected evidence from surveillance cameras and interrogation results, issuing arrest warrants for 12 individuals; nine have already been taken into custody, two surrendered, and one remains at large.
