The Pattaya city court denied bail to the defendants in a case involving five murders committed in the Chonburi area. The trial began on November 15 of this year after charges were brought against local residents and tourists. The defendants asked the court to release them during the investigation, but their request was rejected due to concerns about public safety. The investigation continues following several tragic murder cases in Pattaya and Chonburi. According to local media reports, police are also investigating the disappearance of a teenager from Pattaya who met an older foreigner, as well as the murders of two Russians in Pattaya. Thailand's president expressed condolences to the families of the deceased. It is also reported that there is an investigation into crimes against two Russian brothers found dead in Pattaya. The investigation continues to question suspects, including the wife of a British citizen who was killed at home. Currently, all defendants are in custody. Details of the case and the reasons for the murders have not been disclosed; however, the investigation is ongoing to establish all circumstances surrounding the incidents.
