Police in Phuket arrested two drug dealers with weapons

Police in Phuket conducted two operations against drug dealers in different areas of the island on the same day. In Kathu, a suspect known as Panda was arrested and more than 100 methamphetamine tablets were found along with two homemade pistols and dozens of bullets. Another man was stopped at the Tha Chao Chai checkpoint upon entering Phuket from the mainland; he had hidden part of the drugs in his underwear, and weapons and ammunition were also found on him. Both arrested individuals are charged with possession of drugs with intent to sell and illegal possession of weapons.
